SwanArm is a sculptural and ceramic series that brings together wall-mounted swans and the ceramic piece Full Moon into a unified reflection on contemporary female experience. The series explores states of transition, displacement, fragmentation, and inner fluidity.
The swans traditionally symbols of purity and grace appear removed from their natural habitat and placed within an urban or architectural context. Suspended on the wall, they exist in a state of tension: between dignity and vulnerability, beauty and suffering. In dialogue with them, the ceramic form of Full Moon functions as a psychological container a vessel shaped by both traditional craftsmanship and a sense of internal fugue.
Across the series, I examine how women’s bodies and identities are historically constructed, metaphorized, and often reduced through visual language. While female figures have long been compared to animals in ways that sexualize or humiliate, I propose an alternative symbolic reference. The swan becomes not an object of projection but a subject a portrait of feminine resilience, estrangement, and transformation.
Working within themes of late patriarchy, social validation, and digital mediation, the series reflects on how identity is continuously reshaped by external expectations. Feelings of derealization, fragmentation, and dependence on collective gaze are contrasted with ritual, medieval symbolism, and traditional material processes.
Through sculpture and ceramic practice,SwanArm attempts to archive a moment in which visual culture profoundly shapes corporeal and psychological reality. The works function as material witnesses to a condition of becoming fragile, transitional, and persistently searching for inner coherence.

Moon Series
Each vase-sculpture is my reflection on the body, on how we hold ourselves and how the world holds us. This mini-collection includes sculptures about fragility and strength, softness and resilience.
The base of the vases is the classic Moon Jar. In Japanese, it means "full moon." This classic form is perfect in its simplicity and wholeness. It symbolizes cycles, fullness, and harmony. We created this ideal form in collaboration with Viki Kazakova BIBS Ceramics.
The complements for each Moon Jar are unique details and accessories made of clay or silk. Each vase has different complements, which can be freely combined and rearranged to create a personal composition.
